The Environment

Karen and Colin Cater believe the environment in which we live is worth defending vigorously.

Much of the subject material for our work arises out of involvement in and concern for the natural world.

Materials for Hedingham Fair cards and T-shirts are wherever possible 100% recycled or else made from sustainable sources, subject to continuous review.

All packaging materials received are wherever possible reused, and all production waste is recycled locally.

Since starting Hedingham Fair, where we work from home, we have cut our annual mileage in half, making sure that each road journey taken serves several purposes.

We provide part time work for local Art College students, who gain valuable experience as a result.

Anything sold by Hedingham Fair that is not designed and made by ourselves is bought from other high quality craft producers in the UK, who share our environmental concerns and commitments.
